These sensors are based on the principle that different ores have different absorption, reflection and refraction properties of light. When light is irradiated on the ore sample, the sensor receives the reflected or transmitted light signal, and then determines the content ratio of various elements in the ore by analyzing and processing the signal.

In terms of gas detection, sensors based on chemical principles are widely used. Different gas molecules have different chemical activities and react with specific chemicals. The gas sensor in the mining detector contains special chemically sensitive materials. When the target gas comes into contact with these materials, chemical reactions such as electrochemical changes or optical changes will occur. These changes will be converted into electrical signals or other measurable signal outputs, thereby accurately detecting the type and concentration of gas, providing protection for the safe operation of the mine.

In addition, pressure and temperature detection are also important functional parts of mining detectors. Using pressure-sensitive elements and thermistors, the pressure and temperature values ​​in the environment are detected according to the changes in the physical properties of the elements caused by pressure and temperature changes, such as changes in resistance, capacitance and other parameters. These detection data help monitor the geological structure and mining environment of the mine and ensure the smooth progress of the mining process.
